The Process.

We’ll meet with you to review the job description, discuss your needs + company culture, and talk about your ideal hire, as well as any hiring challenges you’ve experienced in the past. From there, we’ll use our marketing expertise to advise on any adjustments to the role that we know will help get the best candidates possible and keep your new hires engaged, mitigating turnover within your team. We’ll also draft a brief that we’ll use as we search and vet candidates for your role.

Yes, LinkedIn is great, but it’s not the only place to find candidates, and sometimes the best candidates require a little more know-how and good ‘ol fashioned hard work. We’ll tap into our extensive network of current candidates, industry pros and networking groups to ensure we’re presenting the best talent available.

Once we’ve compiled a list of talent, we’ll begin our vetting process. The first step is an initial phone interview + portfolio review. From there, we’ll narrow down your candidates further, hosting a second video interview and sending a custom skills assessment based on your needs for the role.

Once we’ve found your matches, we’ll present our top three candidates to you for review. You’ll interview these shortlisted candidates with your team and then work with us to compare each interview and choose your finalist. We’ll also have lengthy discussions with the references for your final choices to ensure the placement is the right fit.

From there, we’ll connect you directly to the candidate to extend the offer and advise on any potential negotiations, if needed. We’ll also check in with both you and the candidate 30 and 60 days after their start date to ensure the position is the right fit for everyone.

The Logistics.
Let’s just get this out of the way now: we know we charge less than typical recruiters. The reason for this? We think it’s ridiculous to charge 22% to do a LinkedIn keyword search for anyone with a “Marketing Manager” title that may not even be relevant to your needs. Because we know the industry and the roles, we’re able to cut down the time it takes to find truly qualified candidates, saving you both time and money.
Our fees range from 14-20% of the first year’s salary. Final fees will be based on seniority of the role, estimated timeline it will take to hire, and estimated level of consulting it will take get the role/your department into its most hirable place. After our initial discussion with you, we’ll send you a final percentage quote for the placement.
